Flying Sheep Saucers are flying saucers (aka UFO's) piloted by very mysterious sheep in the Spyro the Dragon series. They frequently cause trouble by doing things such as abducting farmers and stealing Dragon Eggs.
Apearances
Flying Sheep Saucers first apear in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage in the level Metropolis, in which Spyro uses a combined superfly and superflame powerup to hunt them down and destroy them. This level is also the most fitting for them, as all the enemies are outer-space themed farm animals. This would suggest that the sheep saucers come from the farms mentioned by one of the robots (probably Robotica Farms). Later, in Spyro: Year of the Dragon, flying sheep saucers reappear in the Forgotten Worlds. In this game, they show up in every Speedway and are fought off by Hunter. They also apear in the Super Bonus World, where Spyro must use a Combination Powerup to chase them down and destroy them, much like he did in their first apearance.
Hunter seems to be disturbed by their presence. He mentions flying sheep saucers at the beginning of Spyro: Season of Ice.
Later, UFO's appear in the Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly realm Crop Circle Country, which is essentially a barnyard overrun with space-age sheep, including those that pilot UFO's.
