A '''Grove mite''' is a little insect-like creature from the [[Ancient Grove]], and apparently an enemy in [[The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night]]. They are wild enemies just like the [[Death Hounds]] and like the [[Vine Ogres]] they are poisonous just like the waters in the Ancient grove. They attack by spewing out little poisonous gases at [[Spyro]]. However, they are easy to kill. Unlike the pirates, vine ogres, and death hounds, they have no particular names.

A Grove Mite is an enemy insect in the Ancient Grove.

Characteristics

Physical Appearance

Grove Mites are a color swap of Fire Beetles with purple and blue colors.

Behavior

They inhabit the pathways of the Ancient Grove, preferring to hide near Tuba Plants. Attempting to blend in, it emerges from nests in the ground and springs using swarm tactics to overwhelm and drain potential victims. This parasite will use its poison sting and Magic draining ability to defend the nest site.[1]
