Fire Beetles are enemies native to Munitions Forge in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. They are small flying insects that are durable to heat, hence are not too fazed with Spyro's Fire Breath. They are usually spawned from hives, but can be a nuisance if surrounded by them. These bugs are easily dispatched with Ice Breath.

In the Nintendo DS version of A New Beginning, Fire Beetles are too small to fight, and must be dispatched quickly by use of the stylus or else they will deal large damage to Spyro.
