The '''''Main Theme''''' is a recurring musical theme throughout The Legend of Spyro series. It is mentioned in an interview with the composers as being a piece that they worked very hard on. It was first heard in some of the television commercials, where you can hear the latter half of the piece play. In the games the first use of the Main Theme is in the first cutscene in A New Beginning, playing the leitmotif while Ignitus looks over the eggs and takes Spyro's egg away. Its leitmotif can be heard in the tracks for Dante's Freezer, and later it can be heard in the Escape From Forge track, and in Cynder Boss Convexity. In The Eternal Night the leitmotif is heard at the end of the first cutscene and at the end of Well of Souls. In Dawn of the Dragon the theme is used for the menu music, the leitmotif is found in Warfang (Dragon City), the theme is used in Destroyer's Core, the leitmotif is found in Fight Above the Clouds and the theme is used again in Battle in the Earth's Core.
