Ape Gunners consist of small mask-wearing Apes manning these cannons. The cannons that the Apes operate fire projectiles that match Spyro's elemental powers. Assault Turrets, also called Cannons, are enemies in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning that fire projectiles at Spyro through use of elemental cannons. In each world Spyro visits, Assault Turrets are different from one another in name and use of ammo.
