Haywire Robot

Template:CharacterboxHaywire Robots are enemies found in Dark Mine in Spyro: A Hero's Tail. They can be found drilling into rock-filled tunnels, but will attack Spyro if he draws close.

If a Haywire Robot is charged, the lower half of its body will be knocked off; while its upper half still poses a threat (it will drag itself towards Spyro in its attempt to attack him), so a second charge is needed to defeat it for good.

Different varieties of Haywire Robots also exist within the mines. Some are attached to steamrollers or turrets while others are equipped with spinning spikeballs for arms. When in turrets, they will follow Spyro and shoot rapid fire lasers at him.
