Icy Wilderness

Icy Wilderness is the third home world in Spyro: A Hero's Tail. There are three levels in Icy Wilderness, including the boss level. This realm is a place full of snow and ice, snowy villages, glaciers, prehistoric ruins, ice mines, and a massive royal palace.

Frostbite Village
A village frozen over in snow and ice. Spyro arrives in Frostbite Village and needs to help a penguin named Phil the Penguin in order to progress. He later meets Phil's wife Peggy further down the area. Parts of Frostbite Village cannot be explored until you have rescued Spyro and have found at least 40 Light Gems (for the Supercharge gadget) and 95 (for the secret area). Unarmored Gnorcs

Gloomy Glacier
A cavern system littered with giant skeletons and chasms. After Spyro is kidnapped, Sparx finds Hunter and alerts him of Spyro's plight. The two embark through Gloomy Glacier to make their way to the Ice Citadel, encountering their old friend Bentley along the way. Yetis

Red's Chamber
