Avalar is a location that serves as the main setting of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. It has three homeworlds that Spyro must explore, in order of Summer Forest, Autumn Plains, and Winter Tundra, which are based on the seasons of summer, autumn, and winter respectively.
Avalar appears to be a kingdom, as suggested by the castles shown in all three homeworlds. Unlike the Dragon Realms or Forgotten Realm, the residents of Avalar have never seen a dragon before.
