Adamantine Orbs[1] are white glowing orbs that are used to unlock doors and other things in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. They have to be carried to pressure plates; however, they are heavy and limit Spyro and Cynder's ability to fly, thus forcing them to take the orbs to their pressure plates by foot.
