Moles are a race of creatures that appeared in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. They are longtime allies with Dragonkind, which was established before Malefor was born. To honor their friendship, the Moles built the Dragon City of Warfang. They are notable to have participated in the battle against Malefor's army in Dawn of the Dragon.
Characteristics
Physical Appearance
The Moles are short, stout creatures that take after the animal they are based on. They wear gear that are akin to steampunk attire and wear armor that resemble a samurai's.
Abilities
The Moles seem to be a highly-advanced race specializing in technology, as shown by their weaponry and machinery. In close combat, they attack with small swords
Profile
- “These tiny warriors have a long, time-honored alliance with all of dragonkind. Not only are they the architects of the Dragon city, Warfang, they are also its protectors. What they lack in size is more than made up for in heart and courage.”

Trivia
- According to the mural in the Ruins of Warfang, the Moles worshipped Malefor centuries ago, along with the cheetahs and the rest of Dragonkind.
- The Moles presumably built the Catacombs.
- A piece of concept art shows the Moles were originally planned to resemble the Manweersmalls.[1]
- In the final version of the game, the majority of the Moles share the same battle armor character design. There is a different model of the Moles that is only spotted in the cutscene when the Golem begins its attack on Warfang.
