Dimension Portal
Dimension Portals are pedestals in Spyro: Shadow Legacy. They allow Spyro to phase into the Shadow Realm and vice versa. Using the Dimension Portals requires Spyro to have the Shadowstone. When Spyro is standing on a dimension portal, the player can press the X button to activate it. By pressing the button again, Spyro can phase back into the real world.
Story
At the Dojo, Tomas gives Spyro the Shadowstone and teaches him how to use the dimension portals. According to Tomas, the dimension portals have not been used for thousands of years. Later, when Spyro and Sparx reach the Dragon Dojo, they realize the door is shut, so Tomas advises them to use a dimension portal because they can walk through wooden doors in the Shadow Realm.
