Template:Youmay Template:Characterbox Purple Dragons are a special breed of dragon; a status that was first introduced in Spyro: Shadow Legacy. They, like Spyro, are a unique dragon species who are gifted with powerful magical energy. That energy is strong enough to withstand the negative and dark effects of magic.

There were a total of two known Purple Dragons who were included with this special status: Spyro and the Sorcerer.
