Dragon Kata is an ancient style of martial art in Spyro: Shadow Legacy. It is the only technique used to defeat the creatures of the Shadow Realm.

Trivia
- The Melee attacks featured in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning and The Eternal Night are possibly based off of the moves of Dragon Kata, since they both have similar movements and combos when Spyro is attacking enemies.
- This may have been meant to happen, as the company that made Shadow Legacy also made The Legend of Spyro series.
