Gem Thieves[1] are a Gnorc enemy in Spyro the Dragon. They are found only in the Artisans home world.

Characteristics[edit]

Gem Thieves are green Gnorcs that wear a red mohawk. They also wear a bandit's mask, though not in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy remake.

Unlike other Gnorcs, Gem Thieves do not harm Spyro, but instead run away if he approaches them. Spyro can attack a Gem Thief by either charging or flaming it. It takes three hits to defeat a Gem Thief; the first two times a Gem Thief is hit, it drops a red Gem, but when defeated, it drops three red Gems, meaning that they drop a total of five red Gems. If Spyro defeats a Gem Thief more than once, it drops small orbs instead of small gems.
