Gem Thieves[1] are an enemy in Spyro the Dragon.
Characteristics
Gem Thieves are type of Gnorc appearing exclusively in the Artisans home world. They have green skin and a red mohawk. Gem Thieves also wear a bandit's mask, though not in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy remake.
Unlike other Gnorcs, Gem Thieves do not harm Spyro, but instead run if he approaches them. Spyro can attack a Gem Thief by either charging or flaming it. It takes three hits to defeat a Gem Thief; the first two times a Gem Thief is hit, it drops a red Gem, but when defeated, it drops three red Gems, meaning that they drop a total of five red Gems. If Spyro defeats a Gem Thief more than once, it drops small orbs instead of small gems.
