Gnorc Sentries[1] are enemies in Spyro the Dragon.
Characteristics[edit]
Gnorc Sentries are large Gnorcs, more specifically a variant of Gnorc Warriors armored with a metallic helmet and a metallic breastplate. Sentry Gnorcs have their own variant named Gnorc Balloonists, which travel around by using a balloon.
Gnorc Sentries can be found walking back and forth in the narrow hallways of Dark Hollow. Because of their large size, they block the entire path. Gnorc Sentries do not harm Spyro, although if he walks into one's belly, it bounces him backward. Gnorc Sentries are unarmored from behind, so Spyro can only defeat one by using a flame attack on their back. When defeated, a Gnorc Sentry drops a blue Gem.
Story[edit]
Spyro only encountered two Gnorc Sentries during his journey, and both of them are in Dark Hollow.
