Goons have two variants. One of them is [[Gem Thief|Gem Thieves]], which have similar behavior and are also encountered in Artisans, although their biggest difference is that they carry around a large bag filled with [[gem]]s. [[Soldier]]s are another variant, but they are encountered in [[Dark Hollows]]. Soldiers are identical in appearance to Goons, although they carry a sword and shield. Instead of running from Spyro, Soldiers try to attack him with their sword.
