Headbash, also formatted headbash, is a recurring ability in the Spyro franchise. It debuted in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. To execute the move, Spyro must jump, and then the player must press a certain button. By performing a headbash, Spyro charges down onto the ground. Headbash enables Spyro to destroy rocks and Metal Chests.

Spyro learns headbash near the end of his adventure, by paying 1,000 gems to Moneybags in Winter Tundra.
Spyro: A Hero's Tail[edit]
In Spyro: A Hero's Tail, the ability was renamed Horn Dive, also formatted horn dive[1]. Spyro learns the move from Elder Tomas. The Horn Dive is required for Spyro to destroy Dark Gems.
