Superfreeze is an ice powerup that was introduced in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. It grants Spyro the ability to freeze enemies in blocks of ice that would allow him to jump on them to reach higher areas. The superfreeze powerup can be found in Cloud Temples.
When he acquires the Superfreeze powerup, Spyro is given a slightly blue hue. In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, he is given a dark purple scales, blue horns, spines and blue markings on his back that resemble snow shards.
