Autumn Plains is the second home world of Avalar in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. As the name suggests, it is based on an Autumn Plain, with a swimming pool in the middle and gently dying brown leaves, and a beautiful dawning sky. It is here that Spyro learns the Climb ability after paying Moneybags.
Within the castle is a wall with cracks on it. Charge into it to break it open, revealing a whirlwind. It will lead you to the castle roof, where another whirlwind resides. Use it to fly up to the highest point of the castle. From here, you can see a very distant island which is the orb's location. Just simply glide over to the island (hover recommended so that you don't overshoot).
End of the castle wall
If you travel along the top of the castle walls (especially after getting the above orb), you'll notice that the wall which terminates the path is also cracked and breakable. Busting it open will reveal an orb behind it.

Long Distance: Complete the long glide to Orb in Autumn Plains
Early images of Autumn Plains in the Games Master October 1999 issueAutumn Plains is the longest homeworld in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! containing 11 worlds.
This is the only world in the original trilogy where Spyro needs to pay Moneybags 4 times.
This is the only homeworld in the original trilogy to have two speedways.
In early images of the game, there was originally going to be water running along the pathway that leads to the orb inside the castle wall.[1]
Early images also state that the only way into the main castle was by flying in through the front door.[1]
Reignited Trilogy
In Spyro Reignited Trilogy, a painting of Autumn Plains appears in the castle of the level Toasty from the previous game, which have been painted by the dragon painter Nevin. This strongly hints that Nevin visited Autumn Plains.
