*A possible reference to him may exist in the game ''Ratchet: Deadlocked'', with his name appearing in the scoreboard of heroes competing in Dreadzone. With the ''Ratchet & Clank'' series, like the first three ''Spyro'' games made by Insomniac Games, the chances of this being an intentional reference are very well possible.

Agent Zero

Agent Zero is a rather dimwitted spy who appeared in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. Aside from being an agent and being labeled with a number, he has absolutely nothing to do with Agent 9.

Spyro encountered him at the Cloud Temples in Winter Tundra, where Agent Zero told him that he was heading to his secret base, and he should not be followed. Whenever he saw Spyro following him, he forced him to wait behind a tree and would not move until he hid behind it, though Spyro managed to evade detection as Zero reached his base. Defeated, and lead to believe that Spyro was also a member of his club, Agent handed him an orb, which would allow them to have communication.

In the original epilogue, Agent Zero recruited Handel and Greta to train them as spies.
