There is also [[Shielded Armed Thieves|another type]] of Armed Thief that is armed, which is purple and additionally uses a shield. They are the same as the Arabian Thief but the face looks mad.

Armed Thieves are a type of Thief that appear as enemies in Shady Oasis. Unlike most of the other types of Thieves, they do not run away and can attack Spyro. They are dressed in grey and wear a turban with a red jewel, as well being armed with a scimitar. These thieves however, have not stolen eggs like their blue counterparts.

  • If fed an apple from one of the trees, an Armed Thief will pick it up, devour it and rub their stomach while making an "Mm mm" noise to show enjoyment. This does not happen in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
