They were being forced to stand on pedestals by the [[Umbrella Idol]] who had taken their leader [[Hulagirl Stella|Stella]] hostage on a platform chained to a rock. When [[Spyro the Dragon (character)|Spyro]] arrived, he had to pass through a [[Supercharge]] [[Powerup]] Gate and charge into each pedestal, sending the hulagirls flying to the platform where they would perform a rain dance to destroy the Idol and free their leader.

The Hulagirls are Green Colosi in Idol Springs in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!.

They were being forced to stand on pedestals by the Umbrella Idol who had taken their leader Stella hostage on a platform chained to a rock. When Spyro arrived, he had to pass through a Supercharge Powerup Gate and charge into each pedestal, sending the hulagirls flying to the platform where they would perform a rain dance to destroy the Idol and free their leader.
