Behavior
The Water Workers seem to enjoy torturing sea creatures, which is demonstrated when they enslave the sea turtles in Sunny Beach or steal the water from the seahorses in Aquaria Towera. Later on, in Sunny Beach, a group of Water Workers were kidnapping several turtles, when one was electrocuted after accidentally touching another worker's shock stick with his back. The box he was pulling towards him crushed (and possibly killed) another worker with the turtles escaping. Another one tried to chase after a turtle, but it stole his shock stick and chased him away.

Trivia
- According to Elora's scrapped dialogue for Sunny Beach and Aquaria Towers, the Water Workers were employed by Ripto. For Sunny Beach, he sent the Water Workers to capture the turtles to make them into his favorite turtle meal. For Aquaria Towers, Ripto sent the Water Workers to drain the beautiful underwater caves dry and build factories on top of them.[1]
- Several Water Workers make a cameo appearance in Dragon Shores, where they serve as targets for the shooting game. For some reason, they wear their diving helmets here.
- The Plumber in the Ratchet & Clank series is sometimes referred to as the Water Worker. He may have gotten this title from these foes, though this is unlikely.
- In the opening sequence of Aquaria Towers in "Spyro: Ripto's Rage", the Water Worker who taunts the seahorse with the water glass wears a scuba helmet, but in the Reignited Trilogy he does not wear the helmet in the scene, giving him the same appearance as the Water Workers in Sunny Beach.
