Yaks appear as enemies in both Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro 3: Year of The Dragon. In Ripto's Rage, Yaks appear in the the level [[Colossus]] where they will jump around and attempt to flatten Spyro by rolling on him. A yak also appears as a mini-boss in the Ripto's Rage level [[Metropolis]]. In Year of the Dragon, an enemy called a yak appears in [[Bamboo Terrace]] only it looks completely different.

Yaks appear as enemies in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. In Ripto's Rage!, Yaks appear in the level Colossus where they will jump around and attempt to flatten Spyro by rolling on him. They can easily be defeated by flame. Unlike goats, Yaks are too big to charge.
