Template:Characterbox The Cheetahs are a recurring race who appeared in both original Spyro series and The Legend of Spyro series.

Original Series

In the original series, Hunter was the only cheetah who made an appearance throughout the games. Other cheetahs were revealed in Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs in the Cheetah Spot Spa, and later in Spyro: Shadow Legacy in the Savannah.

The Legend of Spyro series

In The Legend of Spyro series, cheetahs live in the Valley of Avalar and reside in the Cheetah Village, but there is a hermit, who lives on the other side of the valley. It would seem that they have been neutral in the war against the Dark Master, but one Cheetah, named Hunter tried to help in the war before his village got involved, and the cheetahs afterwards joined the Allies.

  • All of the cheetahs in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon have very similar appearances. Though they may be different colors and holding different weapons, in artwork they all have the same stance and the same eyes.
