Template:Youmay Template:Characterbox Template:Q Astor is a green Dragon Elder who first appeared in Spyro: A Hero's Tail and later appeared in Spyro: Shadow Legacy.

Personality

Like the other Dragon Elders, Astor respects Spyro and his abilities, and he is thankful when Spyro frees him. However he is the rudest amongst the Elders. He is impatient, caustic, and constantly throws out insults. This is evident when he says that Spyro has A.D.D., and out of Astor's sheer impatience, calls Magnus a "deaf coot."

In Spyro: Shadow Legacy, Astor was given a more calm temperament, no longer impatient and rude. Interestingly, his former personality from the previous game was given to Titan in Shadow Legacy.

Story

Spyro: A Hero's Tail

When Red returned from exile, he imprisoned Astor in the Ice Citadel dungeon. Spyro later freed Astor by smashing a Dark Gem above the dungeon, and the Dragon Elder taught him the Wall Kick ability.

In the secret 100% ending, Astor was seen watching the end credits with the other Dragon Elders. He complains that the voice actors of the other elders were "just plain awful," and insults Magnus when the latter believed he made a sandwich offer, calling him a deaf coot.

Spyro: Shadow Legacy

After Spyro saved Astor and the other elders from the Shadow Realm, Astor volunteered to teach Spyro enhanced Fire and Ice Breaths whenever he leveled up.

Trivia

  • While conversing with Astor for the first time and learning the Wall Jump technique, he will claim Spyro has A.D.D. (Attention Deficit Disorder), a mental deficiency that makes it hard for people to pay attention.
