Snail Rhinos | |

|
Snail Rhinos are native creatures in Mystic Marsh. They are an exotic example of the Avalar fauna. Snail Rhinos are a combination of a snail and a rhinoceros. They are somehow related to Snail Elephants, another creature that lives in the same world.
The metallic shell of a Snail Rhino makes them immune to Spyro's flame. Aside from superflame, only charging them will defeat them. If Spyro gets too close to them, they will jab at him with their horns.

Trivia
- These are the first enemies in the Spyro series to resemble rhinos (the second being the Rhynocs).
- The Snail Rhinos bear a resemblance to the Helmasaurs from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
- In the original game, the shells are tall; and in the remake, the shells are slightly shorter and cover more of the rhinos.
