The Shield Armed Thieves are a type of Thief encountered in Shady Oasis. Similar to the Armed Thieves, except they are larger in appearance, are purple, and carry a metal shield. Charging at them will cause them to be dizzy and drop its sword and shield. If left alone for a while, it'll recover but without the shield. Flaming it from behind will defeat it instantly.
Their new look in the Reignited Trilogy shows they have mouths (along with the regular armed thieves) and little feet from the bottom of their outfits which have more detail. They wield thick khopesh swords and their shields have a sun design emblazoned on them.
