DBX9 Rocket Launchers were the original primary weapon used by Sgt. James Byrd in war. They were used to shoot rockets at the enemy.
At some point, he exchanged them for a more reliable Rocket Launcher Jetpack, which also enabled him to fly, taking the pressure away from his wings.
