Lost Fleet is the second realm of the Evening Lake home world in Spyro: Year of the Dragon and in the Reignited Trilogy remake of Year of the Dragon.

This realm can be accessed via swimming. As the name suggests, it contains several sunk pirate ships, various ponds of acid, and Ghosts (although they are, in fact, just Rhynocs with costumes on). There are also several over-sized crabs which try to snip Spyro if they see him.

Swim Through Acid (Chad) In a cave accessed only through the acid river; use the invincibility powerup to swim there.
Sink the Subs I (Ethel) In this sub-level, destroy six enemy subs for Crazy Ed. Follow a sub to lock on, and then fire a missile.
Sink the Subs II (Dolores) In the same sub-level, destroy another seven subs for Crazy Ed. Same process as before, except that the enemy subs can now drop mines, making it more difficult to get a lock on.

Skate Race Hunter (Aiden) After completing the previous skate race, win first place against Hunter, and kill all ten crabs at the same time.

Trivia

General

  • In The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night, there is a similarly-named level called "Pirate Fleet".
  • Black Winged Vultures from both Cliff Town a Dry Canyon be seen flying overhead which can be defeated by cannons.
  • Even after he is seen leaving for Evening Lake, Crazy Ed can still be found in the submarine area.
  • This realm is one of three in the game that doesn't have a Sheila, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, nor Agent 9 portal, the other two being Icy Peak and Cloud Spires.
  • This realm's music theme in the Greatest Hits and Reignited Trilogy versions is a remix of the one in Sheila's Alp and sub-levels, which has high pitched croaking sounds from the "down under" sound fonts and new bagpipe drones added.
    • In the Reignited Trilogy, the drum roll at the beginning is absent in order to make the song loop better.
  • This realm may be the hazard version of Super Bonus Round.
    • Both realms have a skate course challenge and a submarine challenge.
    • In all versions of the game except the Greatest Hits, this realm's theme is also shared with Super Bonus Round.
  • As with other challenges before defeating Scorch, if the skate course is entered while Hunter is in Bianca's trap, a sign with Hunter's face will appear where he would normally stand, with a message stating his capture. The two eggs in this area will also be unobtainable until he is released.

Original Game

  • The player can skate up most of the walls in the skateboarding area without wiping out.
  • This realm has the same skybox as Winter Tundra and Ripto's Arena.
  • Lost Fleet was included in the second of the game's six demos, along with Icy Peak and Agent 9's Lab. Although the player is placed in the submarine area, the rest of the level can be accessed with hacking, though the rest of the level is unstable as the player wasn't supposed to access it. The demo features a number of differences from the final version but most notably most of the dragons in this level have different names:
    • Craig was called Willis
    • Ethel was called Carly.
    • Dolores was called Brenda.
    • Chad was called Trevor.
    • Oliver was called Ichabod.
