Talismans are magical items found in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. In Summer Forest and Autumn Plains, they are needed to unlock the inner chambers to the worlds' castles snd free them from Ripto's clutches. There are a total fourteen talismans in the game, one for each world, excluding Speedways.

The player is given the talisman when they complete the tasks set for them in that world. In most cases, this was to make your way to the home portal, but there were exceptions. For example, in the world, Idol Springs, the player's goal was to destroy all of the Idols that had come to life. Each talisman had its own name and picture. In the third homeworld, Winter Tundra, you get orbs instead of Talismans when completing the level.

Some of the talismans also appear as customizable backpacks in Crash Team Rumble.
