Crystal Bears[1] are enemies found in Crystal Islands in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Due to its massive size, it can only be defeated using the flame attack. It attacks by leaping into the air and attempting to land on Spyro.

Trivia
- They are similar to the Sleeping Dogs and the Beasts from the first game, as they try to jump onto Spyro.
- Early concept art by animator and artist Oliver Wade suggests that the Crystal bears might have been originally Polar bears.
