Double Jump Glitch is a Glitch which appears exclusively in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!
When jumping, pressing the charge button at the top of the jump causes Spyro to leap up further, often allowing him into places he wouldn't normally be allowed to get to. This can lead to Swim in the air glitches, as well as allowing him to Skip through the game at certain points, such as getting past the bridge in Glimmer without paying and accessing Crush's Dungeon before all the Talismans have been located.
Although the glitch was patched in Spyro: Year of the Dragon, it can be brought back with a Gameshark code. It was later fixed in the Reignited Trilogy.
However it is entirely possible to do a similar trick with the hover if timed correctly.
