The Breezebuilders are an avian race that appeared in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. They appear as enemies in the Zephyr world, but are allies to Spyro in their Breeze Harbor realm. The reason for this change is Spyro's juxtaposition in the war between Land Blubbers and Breezebuilders, which is almost constant.

Trivia
- The line Trouble with the trolley, eh?, from Fisher, has become an internet meme.
- According to scrapped dialogue from Elora, the Breezebuilders and Landblubbers got along well before Ripto arrived and he may have started the war between the two species.[1]
- In the original trilogy, when the player speaks to Moneybags a second time after paying him to activate the portal for Zephyr, Moneybags reveals that he gave the Breezebuilders the weapons that they use in their war against the Land Blubbers. However, this ultimately proved to be a losing proposition for Moneybags where he says "Those darn birds in Zephyr never paid me for all the bombs and TNT barrels I gave them...".
- In the Japanese version, the Breezebuilders are instead known as "Dorii" (ドリー dorii), a distortion of tori (鳥), meaning bird, although the Land Blubbers and Moneybags still refer to the Breezebuilders as birds.
