Satyrs, along with the female Fauns, are residents who reside in Fracture Hills. The Earthshapers, annoyed by the Satyr's magical songs on their bagpipes, casted a spell upon the Satyrs and the nearby temple, encasing them in stone. Once freed from their stone spell, the Satyrs will play a magical song on their bagpipes that breaks the spell on the petrified temple. The song will also cause any nearby pigs in the area to get up on two legs and start dancing. Their accent is either Irish or Welsh.
Characteristics
Satyrs possess the ability to cast magical songs through the music they play on their bagpipes. The music can break the stone enchantments summoned by the Earthshapers.
In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the music from the Satyrs can also pacify Earthshapers.

Trivia
Original Game
- Strangely, none of the Satyrs have rigged mouths to animate them while they are speaking. This could have been a development oversight.
- The first Satyr says, "Thank you for releasing me", which was a common phrase spoken by the dragons in the first game.
- Satyrs come from Greek mythology, and are said to have the body, head and feet of a human, the hips and legs of a goat. They are often confused with Fauns, however Fauns have the hooves of a goat and not the feet of a human.
Reignited Trilogy
- The Alchemist's new design resembles the satyrs that you rescue throughout the level, making him look younger than he originally was.
- The Satyrs’ voice actor in Reignited, Roger Craig Smith, is also the current English voice actor of Sonic the Hedgehog.
