|1. The first part of the challenge involves jumping up one step. When you get close to the step, press X to jump. Join Hunter at the top.<br>2. The second part involves a Glide. To glide, run towards the edge and jump (tap X). Then at the top of your jump, hold X in again to glide to the next platform.<br>3. The third part of the challenge involves a hover. To make it to the next platform, Spyro must perform a normal glide but tap 'triangle' at the last second to get an extra little jump at the end. Follow Hunter up the stairs.<br>4. The fourth and final part of the challenge is a "Running Hover." To complete this, you must run to the edge of the platform, and perform a normal hover trying to get as much length as you can. Once you have completed this jump, you will meet Hunter on the final platform where you will be rewarded with an Orb. | |||

|Two large wooden doors are operated by the Red/Green Switch in front of the doors. When the switch is activated; One door opens, The other one closes. Summer Forest is a sunny forested area located in Avalar. It is the first home world in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. Summer Forest has a summertime theme, and it features lush scenery, including fully bloomed trees. A large castle is the centerpiece of Summer Forest, and it is surrounded by a moat containing a large body of water that appears to be sourced from a waterfall flowing out of a drain on the castle. There is a famous "walk in water" glitch located in this homeworld (as well as many others throughout the entire Spyro series- water-based glitches being the most common due to the interface of the pools of water and the diving mechanisms of the characters). Gliding outside left, from the ledge near Colossus will lead to an unprotected area, and allow one to land inside the water passage without diving.

- In Spyro: Season of Ice, there is a homeworld named Summer Fairy Home that also has a summertime theme.
- A game design document for Spyro 2 reveals that Summer Forest was originally called Summer Spring Forest.[1]
- Summer Forest is mentioned in the novel Skylanders: The Machine of Doom, where Spyro was played in at the time of Master Eon's arrival to his world. It is unknown if this Summer Forest is the same one from the original series or a completely revamped version.
- There are a few ways you can fight Crush and move on to the next world without getting all the talismans right after you learn to swim using the double jump glitch. One way is to use the double jump to jump out of the ledge right next to the wall blocking Aquaria Towers, providing you didn't pay Moneybags to lower it already, and fly out of the window leading out of bounds and fly into the chute leading to Crush.
