Gem Baskets, also named Wicker Baskets,[1] are recurring objects in the Spyro franchise. They first appear in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!

Location and uses[edit]

Gem Baskets are fragile, breakable containers that release gems when broken. Since their first appearance, Gem Baskets have replaced treasure chests from the first Spyro the Dragon in most Spyro games.

Spyro: Season of Ice[edit]

Gem Baskets appear with treasure chests, unlike most other games.

Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy[edit]

There is a blue trading card of a Basket from Spyro: Season of Ice that is obtained by clearing Fall In, Roll Out a third time.
