Giant Scorpions are enemies appeared in Spyro: Year of the Dragon, found in the Desert Ruins realm.
Characteristics
Physical Appearance
As their name states, Giant Scorpions are large, metallic, brownish orange scorpions with frown eyebrows, and squinted eyes with a mixture of yellow and orange coloring. They have oval-shaped teeth on their round muzzle. They are bigger version of Scorpions.
A smaller blue version of this scorpion appears in Sheila’s section of the level.
Behavior
Giant Scorpions attack by shooting flames from their tails in a wave. For some reason, they refrain from using their claws to attack. They can be defeated only by flaming.
