Balloonist Gnorcs, also named Gnorc Balloonists, are a type of Gnorc and enemy in Spyro the Dragon. If Spyro gets too close, they try to hit him with their shield. A Balloonist Gnorc can only be defeated if Spyro flames their balloon, causing the Balloonist Gnorc to fall.

Characteristics

Physical Appearance

Gnorc Balloonists share the same character models as Gnorc Sentries, but they carry metal shields and hold onto oversized balloons that keep them afloat near edges of platforms.

Behavior

If Spyro gets too close, the Gnorc Balloonists try to hit him with their shield. The only way to defeat them is to flame the balloons they are holding, causing them to fall to their doom. The balloon can only be flamed when the Gnorc bobs down within reach, leaving the balloon level with Spyro.
