Trivia

Original

  • In the June 15th Prototype, Jarvis' dialogue is displayed as text, and this dialogue is different: There's much more to do... Mountains to climb, peaks to conquer...
  • In the PAL and NTSC-J versions of Spyro the Dragon, Hexus' color scheme was altered to be a bright yellow color.
  • In all versions of the original game, Hexus shares his colour scheme and body type with Jarvis. This was corrected in the Reignited Trilogy, where both now have more distinct differences in appearance.

Reignited Trilogy

  • Originally, Hexus was to have a pet phoenix perched atop his staff, but it was too much for the development team, so they turned it into an ornate detail on top of Hexus's staff.[2]
  • In the Reignited Trilogy, Hexus has slightly more dialogue, saying: "Well done, Spyro! Thank you for releasing me.".
