Trivia
- Dry Canyon is one of only four worlds in the series to keep its original name in the Japanese version, the other three being Cliff Town, Wizard Peak, and Magma Cone.
- There is a glitch which can occur when rescuing Boris - if the player is too close to the edge of the platform when they touch the dragon pad, Spyro will fall through the floor and his model will be absent for the remainder of the cutscene. This will result in the player losing a life, they are at the death boundary when the cutscene ends.
- Conan delivers the same message as Thor when freed - the audio dialogue is identical.
- In some early builds, Dry Canyon uses Alpine Ridge's track.
