Variant of Gnorc

Gnorc Warrior, Ice Gnorc, Gnorc Balloonist, Showman Gnorcs

Gnorc Sentries[1] are a variety of Gnorc Warriors found in Dark Hollow that are outfitted with fireproof metal.

Characteristics

Physical Appearance

Gnorc Sentries are large, green Gnorcs that protected by metal helemts and armor from the front. However their backs are exposed, leaving them open for Spyro's fire.

Behavior

Gnorc Sentries are found patrolling the narrow hallways of Dark Hollow, marching back and forth, and while they cannot harm Spyro they will knock him away with their bellies if he approaches them from the front. As these Gnorcs are too big to charge, the only way to defeat them is to flame their backs when they walk away. There are only two of these creatures in the level and they both drop a blue gem when defeated.

Tactics

If Spyro approaches a Gnorc Warrior, it will try to smash him with its club. Because of their size, Gnorc Warriors cannot be defeated with a charge attack, but they are vulnerable to a flame attack.
