Engineer
World Gnorc Cove
First appearance Spyro the Dragon (1998)
Latest appearance Spyro Reignited Trilogy (2018)
Variant of Gnorc

Engineers[1] are a type of Gnorc that appear as common enemies in Gnorc Cove.

Characteristics

Physical Appearance

Engineers are dressed as mechanics and carry wrenches which they use to attack Spyro with. They stand on top of steel or TNT barrels and whack Spyro over the head with their wrench.

Tactics

The best way to beat these Gnorcs is just by charging the barrel underneath them if it's a metal one, or flaming it and running away if it's a TNT one.

Trivia

  • In the original game, all the enemies of this level closely resemble the Balloonists that transport Spyro between worlds, but the Engineers are the closest, considering their identical size; their Reignited designs, however, are more obviously Gnorcs.
