Strong Chests[1] are objects in Spyro the Dragon. They are virtually impenetrable treasure chests that Spyro cannot open without firing certain objects, such as firecrackers or a cannonballs. They can also be broken apart by Spyro's superflame or supercharge ability. Like other treasure chests, Strong Chests release gems when destroyed.
At the time of Spyro the Dragon, Gnasty Gnorc cruelly locked a good portion of the Dragon's treasure in these chests just to spite them. He had no intention of reopening these chests, as they are impossible for most creatures to open.
