Mazi (マザン=ドリノマール Mazan in Japanese) is a dragon who resides in Dream Weavers. He instructs Spyro to attack the Clock Fools even though they are invincible.
In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, he is shorter. He has a large magician's hat with a sleeping mask, a long purple beard, earrings on his horns, pointy shoes, a small wooden wand, and dark purple wrist and shoulder armor with gold.

Trivia
Original
- In the original game, Mazi shared the same character model as Lateef, Azizi, Useni and Revilo.
- In the late demo, Mazi doesn't exist at all inside his crystal-prison.
- Mazi means "water" in several Bantu languages, but it's also a Nigerian name of Hebrew origin, meaning "sir."
Reignited Trilogy
- He originally had Apara's character design in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, but was changed.[1]
- Mazi is mistakenly labelled as Lateef in The Art of Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.[2]
