After Spyro frees him, Lateef welcomes the young dragon's arrival and gives him advice on dealing with Gnasty Gnorc's minions in Dream Weavers. Lateef is the only dragon in the Dream Weavers World whose name doesn't end in a vowel (all the other dragons having their names end with an 'a', 'i' or 'o').
