Armored Horrors are enemies encountered in the world where Jacques resides. They are short, with long arms, metal bodies, and small heads with beady red eyes and sharp teeth. The males look like a bizarre combonation of an ugly ape and a crab. They have a menacing roar, and grunt like the bulls from Town Square when they are killed. They are slightly smaller than the females and more challenging to kill. If Spyro gets too close, they will try to snap at Spyro with the pincers on their hands.
