Gem Baskets are a recurring object in the Spyro franchise.

Location and uses

Gem Baskets are fragile, breakable containers that release gems when broken. They first appear in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. In many later appearances, Gem Baskets replace treasure chests from the first Spyro the Dragon game, although both appear in Spyro: Season of Ice.

Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy

In Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy, there is a blue trading card of a Basket that is obtained by clearing Fall In, Roll Out a third time. The basket on the trading card resembles its Spyro: Season of Ice sprite but is facing a slightly different direction.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail

In Spyro: A Hero's Tail, they are named Wicker Baskets.[1]
