Treasure chests, also named Treasure Boxes,[1] are an object in Spyro the Dragon.
Location and uses
Treasure chests contain gems. Spyro can break a treasure chest by either charging into it or flaming it. In their debut appearance, treasure chests are colored red and yellow. Many subsequent titles replaced treasure chests with Gem Baskets. There are locked treasure chests named Lock Chests, which require Spyro to find a key to open them. They appear in a lot more games than treasure chests.
